For those wishing an ecological trek it is possible to walk to the primitive village of Santo Antonio, a community of fishermen and caboclos (Indians). To get there entails a walk along the beach for a distance of about 5 km, and then turning in and following the dunes for another kilometer or so.

Continuing past Santo Antorio the next village is Diogo, a bit further into the interior. Diogo can also be reached by highway (the Linha Verde) and is between Imbassai and Sauipe.

There are many other delightful and memorable spots within walking distance of CI. Loveliest of which is a private secluded natural area of waterfalls and gentle rapids that fill and flow over shallow wading pools where you will languish under a cobalt sky protected by the graceful limbs of
ancient trees and for the first time really become one with nature.

We will provide a guide and a box lunch and you supply the cameras and the sighs of contentment.
