| 1.
Bird Watching |
| Departure: 9:00
a.m. / 3:00 p.m.
Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes
Capacity: 6 persons
Age: 6 and over
15-minute transfer to the Sauípe River, the main
river of the Hydrographic Basin, boarded to the north
by the Subaúma River and to the south by the
Imbassaí River. The Sauípe River originates
to the south of the city of Entre Rios, traveling 80
kilometers toward the sea. The group will travel in
aluminum boats containing out-board motors, with a capacity
of six persons accompanied by a local guide. During
approximately one and a half hours, 14 kilometers of
river are covered (there and back) with a rest stop
at the estuary of the river. A great part of the route
traveled is through well-preserved Mata Ciliar (which
boarders and protects the river), where native fruit
trees attract wild life.
Binoculars are available to the participants. 15 minute
transfer to the Resort.
We offer: raincoats, life jackets and binoculars.
Bring with you: repellent, sun block, headgear,
light clothing, comfortable shoes.
Observation: The use of life jackets during boat
trip is obligatory.

| 2.
SAUÍPE EXPEDITION |
Departures: 9:00 a.m.
/ 2:00 p.m. Duration: 3 hours
Capacity: 18 persons
Age: 6 and over
Transfer by jeep (20 minutes) and
a walk of approximately 15 minutes through an area of
Mata de Restinga until the margins of the Sauípe
River. (During the hike there is a 50-meter stretch
where during high tide the level of the water reaches
approximately 50 cm.) The group boards typical wooden
canoes and all may participate in rowing. Accompanied
by a local guide, well acquainted with the flora and
fauna, the group descends the River Sauípe toward
the estuary, boarding the impressive marshlands. After
rowing 30 minutes the canoe reaches the sand banks of
the river where the group can enjoy a delicious bathe
either in the river or sea. Return to the hotel by jeep.

| 3.
TURTLES BY NIGHT |
Departures: 8:30 p.m. (During the
months of December to February) Duration:
3 hours Capacity: 12 persons
Age: 4 and over Turtle by Night takes
place during the months of December to February. This
program is destined to help save the sea turtles from
extinction and to show the work accomplished by Tamar
during the egg laying period. Monitored by Tamar biologists
the group will watch a video on marine turtles and then,
they will go to the beach by jeep and participate in
the release of the new born turtles. This area of the
beach in Costa do Sauípe is an important hatchery
on the Brazilian coast.
All participants will participate in a draw to a return
passage for two, from any part of the world to Praia
do Forte or Fernando de Noronha, with the right to a
one-week stay and the courtesy of an exclusive T-shirt.
The draw will be on March 31.
We offer: rain coats, a Tamar adoption Certificate
and a T-shirt.
Bring with you: light sweater, dark colored clothes,
tennis shoes or sandals.

| 4.
Whale Watching |
Departure: 8:45 a.m. (from July to
October) Duration: 8 hours Capacity:
22 persons
Age: 8 or over 30-minute
transfer to Praia do Forte and short briefing on the
Jubarte whales and the work accomplished by the Jubarte
Whale Project. The group will board a schooner at around
10:30a.m. for an approximate 25 mile run to observe
the huge mammals that migrate from the cold waters of
the South Pole to give birth in the warm waters of Bahia.
A lunch box containing sandwiches, cereal fruit bars,
a soft drink and mineral water will be offered to the
participants. A Jubarte Whale Project biologist will
accompany the participants providing information during
the trip. Arrival 4:30 p.m. Return transfer to Costa
do Sauípe.
Should no whales be sighted the participants may be
included in other trips according to availability. However
the fee paid will not be returned.

| 5.
JEEP TOUR SAPIRANGA |
Departure: 9:00 a.m. / 2:00 p.m.
Duration: 4 hours Capacity: 24
persons
Age: 4 and over
Departure by jeep to visit the Ecological
Reserve of Sapiranga. We start with a hike of approximately
40 minutes in the remaining area of "mata atlântica"
(Atlantic Woods), followed by a stop at the rapids of
the Pojuca River where a relaxing bathe and swim in
the rapids can be taken. We will visit a typical manioc
flourmill. The next stop will be at the Garcia D´Ávila
Castle (16th century). Return to Resort.

| 6.
IMBASSAÍ EXPEDITION |
| Departure: 9:00 a.m. / 2:00 p.m.
Duration: 3 and a half hours
Capacity: 19 persons
Age: 6 and over
Observation: Use sun block, lightweight clothes,
and swimsuits.
15-minute transfer by jeep or van to the Imbassaí
River in Diogo village. The group boards Canadian canoes
with a capacity for three persons each. Rowing downstream
for approximately 2 hours, first stopping at the Santo
Antônio sand dunes for a bathe in the river, followed
by a bathe at a deserted beach. This is a unique expedition
to get acquainted with this untouched stretch of the
Imbassaí River, with its beautiful sand dunes
and native vegetation. Each curve o the river offers
an agreeable surprise. Return to the Resort by jeep
or van.

| 7.
CATAMARAN TRIP |
| Departure: 9:00 a.m. / 2:30 p.m.
Duration: 4 hours
Capacity: 8 persons
Age: 9 or over
30-minute transfer by jeep along the
Linha Verde and a further fifteen minutes by dirt road
towards the highest parts of the river. We will stop
at the margins of the Pojuca River for instructions
on the procedures of descent and general information
about the region. We will travel through an approximate
4 kilometers. Having 6 rapids of levels 2 and 3 (average),
which does not require previous experience, in approximately
one hour and fifteen minutes alternating between rapids
and pauses for bathing. Finally, a 45 minute transfer
returning to the Resort.
We offer: all necessary equipment: life jackets,
helmets, water proof satchel, etc.
Bring with you: sun block, headgear, light weight
clothes, swimsuits, tennis shoes or sandals which are
attached to the feet and a change of clothes.

| 8.
RAFTING |

Duration: 3 hours Capacity:
24 persons
Age: 2 and over 15-minute
transfer by jeep to the Sauípe River, boarding
a comfortable catamaran, capacity 24 persons, featuring
padded seats. We set off on a 7 kilometer route toward
Barra de Sauípe (Sand banks) going through beautiful
areas of natural vegetation and impressive marshlands.
A trained guide will provide information regarding the
particulars of these ecosystems. Near the sand banks
we stop for bathing. The vegetation bordering the river
attracts various species of birds, which highlights
the beauty of this trip.
We offer: raincoats, lifejackets.
Bring with you: repellent, sun block, headgear,
light weight clothing, comfortable shoes.
Observation: the use of life jackets is obligatory
during the boat trip.

| 9.
QUADRICYCLE |

Age: 6 and over
30-minute transfer to Praia do Forte, visiting Tamar
Project. 15-minute hike to the natural pools of Papa
Gente. These pools located among the coral reefs are
true natural aquariums where various species of fish,
corals, crustaceans, etc. can be seen. Material for
the art of snorkeling: mask and respirator.
We offer: snorkeling equipment.
Bring with you: sun block, headgear, swimsuit
and towel.

| 10.
Tamar and Papa Gente |

Transfer by jeep to Praia do Forte, visiting the Tamar
Project to become acquainted with the marine turtles
of Brazil and the work of the Project; followed by a
3-kilometer ride to visit the Garcia D'Ávila
Castle ruins, one of the oldest Portuguese constructions
in Brazil of the 16th century.
We offer: raincoats and mineral water.

Tyrolese |

Age: 6 and over (16 and over to drive)
A 10-minute. transfer by jeep to Sauipe
Village. A trip over dirt roads in the ecological Reserve
on a 325 cc quadricycle made for two. Stop at Aruá
Lake for bathing, (kayaks available) and returning by
the same road to the Resort.
We offer: helmets.
